I blog on this site, with posts focusing on ideas, innovations, tools, and great work being done (by others) in communications, web strategy, social media, training/development, OD, and community building.
My personal blog, In the Garden, follows the seasons, harvests, and plantings in my subacre farm and in the gardens of other small-plot gardeners. I also like to explore trends and issues in local food, sustainable development, recycling, and green design in this blog.
I'm working on threading together several blogs, videos, photos, and essays from trips my husband and I have taken to Iceland, Scotland, Antarctica, and the US West into one travel portal that will also catalog pictures and videos of trips we've taken together or alone for the past 25 years.
I've been using Ning to prototype online communities for groups I've been working with; one project is to create an online meeting place and resource center for people who meditate in the MidAtlantic region. So far the content focuses on activities in Delaware. That prototype is here.
The other project is a "food exchange" community site that could be used by food banks and their local partners to share, swap, and advertise needs for food products. This project is still at the paper prototype stage.
